GP+ Nottingham City - extended hours access for patients


 


Offering Evening & Weekend appointments k through your GP practice, patients registered at this practice are able to access additional routine appointments during evenings and weekends through the new GP+ service.


 


Appointments will be available to see GPs, Practice Nurses, Clinical Pharmacists and Physiotherapists in a fully equipped accessible location on Upper Parliament Street in Nottingham City Centre.


 


GP+ Opening hours are:



16:00–20:00 Monday – Friday


09:00–13:00 Saturday & Sunday

Who should I see for my problem?

We operate as an integral team within the practice and in many cases the most suitable person to see within the Health Centre is not the doctor.

All of our GPs have general skills suitable to meet the needs of patients.  Drs Merry, Rose and Tao all perform joint injections.  Dr Rose has an interest in Cardiology. Dr Tao provides a minor surgery clinic for our patients and Dr Raybould is trained in fitting contraceptive coils and implants and where appropriate fitting these for non contraceptive purposes.

Practice Nurses


Management of chronic diseases including heart disease, diabetes, asthma, high blood pressure. Well man and woman checks, travel advice and immunizations, minor illness, routine tests such as smears, blood pressure checks , Wound care, removal of sutures, dressings etc.

Healthcare  Assistant                                  

Karen can perform ECG, spirometry and flu and Pneumococcal vaccines.

Phlebotomy

There are blood tests appointments available at the practice - Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 1.00pm

Community Staff-can be contacted through the community reception at Wollaton Vale Health Centre Monday-Friday 9-5pm

Your local dentist can deal with dental problems and also problems with the mouth and gums.

Patients and carers can refer themselves to social services for assessment and for the provision of extra care.
